	Summary: The author treats of the theme of knowledge and love in the experience of faith that builds up the Church. Only a knowledge («conoscenza») that becomes a «celebration of remembrance» and « thanksgiving » (« riconoscenza ») allows for full knowledge of the truth of faith. In Jesus Christ this form of knowledge becomes a sacrament of thanksgiving, a Paschal celebration. The Church draws her life from this celebration of remembrance — or « memorial» — bearing witness and celebrating, so that knowledge truly becomes love, and the Christian experience a feast of faith.
