On 26 March 2026, at 20:00 pm, in the parish church of San Cibrao, Professor Martín Carbajo-Núñez will give a lecture in O Carballino (Galicia) on the subject: "Passion in the heart of St. Francis". After the conference, some alumni of the Franciscan Seminary of Herbón, led by D. Rogelio, will gather at the Pulpería Fíchela for dinner together.
The event is organized by the Brotherhood of the Holy Cross of O Carballino, an association of religious and cultural nature dedicated to the promotion of Christian life and various educational and social activities in the locality. The Brotherhood is chaired by D. Rafael Melero, who has issued the formal invitation to Professor Carbajo-Núñez to participate as a speaker at this event.
The conference is part of the cultural and training initiatives promoted by the Cofradía, aimed at encouraging reflection, dialogue and community participation.
Days later, on April 7, Prof. Carbajo gave another lecture in Granada on the theme: " Passion and Easter in the life of San Francisco: Its present 800 years later".
