On August 23, 2023, Prof. Martín Carbajo Núñez, OFM, will give a lecture on "The Franciscan Perspective on Work and its Relevance in Today" as part of the Friar Jacopa National Conference that the Franciscan Fraternity "Frate Jacopa" in Predazzo, Northern Italy, anually organizes. This year it will be held in attendance, August 21-25, 2023, in the Aula Magna of the Predazzo town hall.
Prof. Carbajo had already participated in a previous edition of this event that was held on August 23-23, 2021. Years earlier, on December 14, 2012, he had also given a lecture on the theme, " The Pilgrim and the Tourist."

The conference continues this year's reflection on the decisive theme of peace by identifying "Steps of Peace to Regenerate Spaces of Life," in the care for the increasingly urgent environmental issue, in the attention to the economic sphere that is increasingly a harbinger of very strong inequalities, in the care for the recovery of the founding values of the dignity of labor, and in the discernment that cannot be postponed for civil and democratic participation.

The conference will be held in the Aula Magna of the Town Hall, under the Patronage of the Municipality of Predazzo, over four days (Aug. 21,22,23,25, from 5 to 7 p.m.). It will be held in presence and live streamed.
