Fr. Boris Calzadillo Arteaga, Provincial Superior of the "Bolivia-Peru" Province of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer, has officially invited Prof. Martín Carbajo-Núñez to participate as a speaker at the 2025 Alphonsian Theological Week, which will take place on August 4–6, 2025, at 15:00 pm (Rome time) ((ID Zoom: 650 017 3209, Acceso: 9042039507), in the city of Cochabamba (Bolivia). The general theme of the event will be: "Christian Moral Theology and New Technologies."
Prof. Carbajo will deliver a lecture on the topic: "Ethics and Family Privacy in the Age of Artificial Intelligence."
The event will bring together professors, students, pastoral workers, and members of various religious communities.
OBJECTIVE:
- Reflect, from Christian moral theology, on the ethical and pastoral challenges posed by new technologies such as artificial intelligence, transhumanism, social networks and the digital environment- in order to discern humanizing and evangelical responses that strengthen our mission in the contemporary world.
