Prof. Martín Carbajo-Núñez will be a speaker at the
9th Social Doctrine Conference, organized by the “Justice and Peace” association of the Diocese of Cartagena (which includes the region of Murcia). The general theme of this year’s edition is:
“The Challenge of Artificial Intelligence for Christian Values.”
Prof. Carbajo-Núñez’s lecture will take place on January 27, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., in the auditorium of the Theological Institute of Murcia (ITM), and will be titled: “Artificial Intelligence, Humanism, and Fraternity.” (

The day before, Professor Enrique López de Terual Alcolea will give another lecture entitled: “Introduction to AI: Some Introductory Notes for Approaching Ethics in Artificial Intelligence.”
