Prof. Martín Carbajo-Núñez will participate as a speaker in the IX Course on Consecrated Life, promoted by the Vicariate for Consecrated Life of the Primatial Archdiocese of Mexico. The initiative aims to provide an updated reflection on the challenges that digital culture presents today to religious and community life. Attendance at these courses is usually around 500 people, mostly from Mexico, but also from other Latin American countries.
Prof. Carbajo began his lectures on October 7, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. (Mexico time). During those two hours, he focused on the theme “The Digital Era.” On October 15, he will give another two-hour lecture at the same time on the topic: “Forming Ourselves to Be Free in the Digital World.” In it, Prof. Carbajo will highlight the importance of an integral formation that enables consecrated persons to live with authenticity, critical awareness, and true inner freedom in today’s technological context.
The entire program seeks to provide concrete tools for discernment and accompaniment, so that consecrated life may face the challenges and opportunities of the present time with renewed hope and creativity. As an immediate reference, prof. Carbajo offers a monographic issue entitled "Digital world and consecrated life: opportunities and challenges", which he recently published in the magazine "Vida religiosa" and his book: "Everything is connected. Integral ecology and communication in the digital age"
