Annual congresses for the ongoing formation of the clergy of the dioceses of Algarve, Beja, Évora, and Setúbal

For more than 14 years, Professor Carbajo has actively contributed to the preparation and organization of the annual congresses promoted by ISTE for the training of clergy in the dioceses of Algarve, Beja, Évora, and Setúbal. Thanks to his efforts, a number of prominent speakers attended our meetings.


Among the most recent are: Marciano Vidal (2012), Lluis Oviedo (2013), P. Prof. José Luis Moral (2024), HE Monsignor Patrón Wong (2015), HE Monsignor Vincenzo Paglia (2016), the Rev. Antonio Spadaro (2017), S.Em. Card. Gianfranco Ravasi (2018), HE Monsignor Rino Fisichella (2019, 2024), S.Em. Card. Peter KA Turkson (2020), S.Em. Card. Miguel A. Ayuso Guixot (2021), S.Em. Card. Luis Antonio G. Tagle (2022), S.Em. Card. Mario Grech (2023), HE Monsignor José R. Carballo (2024) and HE Monsignor Rino Fisichella  (2025), Monsignor Renzo Pegoraro (2026).
In recent years the meeting has taken place at the Alísios Hotel, Av. Infante D. Henrique, 83, Albufeira.

Furthermore, Professor Carbajo has been a member of several scientific committees. He has also been a member of the Forum of Christian Economic Thought, which brings together specialists in this field in Spain.
